Professor and Interim Program Director Glenn S. Lipson, PhD, will be the keynote speaker at the second annual conference on school safety, PACE Day
, hosted by the Oregon School Board Association in Eugene, OR.
PACE Day is an opportunity for members to learn more about improving school safety, as well as reducing their district's potential liability.
Dr. Lipson is a forensic and clinical psychologist who has trained nearly 7,000 educators in preventing sexual misconduct in schools. He has consulted with schools for over two decades and has helped create an online training program to prevent sexual misconduct. Dr. Lipson is also on the board of advisors for Stop Educator Sexual Abuse Misconduct and Exploitation (SESAME) and a partner in Making Right Choices
