For Returning Students:
The Alliant computer systems are moving to Cloud based services. To log in to your email navigate to https://outlook.microsoftonline.com and enter your full name@alliant.edu username.
1. Enter your user@alliant.edu:
The Students username is your first initial and last name @alliant.edu.
Remember the username. ( For example : user@allaint.edu)
* Some students will also need to include a number after their username because of a common name.
For Example: John Smith may be jsmith2@alliant.edu.
2. Enter your existing Password:
Students enter your username followed by your current password. Enter a new password that matches the following criteria. From this point forward on Office365, you will login with Yourusername@alliant.edu
NEW PASSWORD INSTRUCTIONS
Minimum of 8 characters with at least one UPPER and one lower case letter, a number, and special character (!@#$). Your name and/or ID# will not be accepted. Your new Password CANNOT be similar to your existing password (This applies to your last five passwords).

For Staff and Faculty:
1. Enter your user@alliant.edu:.
Remember the username. ( For example : jdoe@alliant.edu)
* Some faculty and staff members will also need to include a number after their username because of a common name.
For Example: John Smith may be jsmith2@alliant.edu .
2. Enter your Password:
New Faculty and Staff – Enter the password given by your local IT coordinator .
* Please refer to the table above*
Existing Faculty and Staff – Use your current network/Email password.
